Fosters Cup
The fourth Fosters Cup had a qualifying round of 1,068 matches played through 32 groups with the top 2 from each group going through to the knock-out round. The 32 group winners would be at home in the first round of the Cup, after that it was all pot-luck.
Jim eventually triumphed, sealing the tournament by winning the final with Spain and inflicting Barcelona's first defeat of the competition.
